Tour Program:

Airport transfer – City tour in Yerevan

We start our tour from the heart of Yerevan from Republic Square, where it becomes clear why Yerevan is considered to be a pink city. The most important government buildings are gathered here. The cherry on the cake is the singing fountains, which betray the unique atmosphere of the city and color Yerevan evenings. Walking along the old streets of Yerevan, we get to the Northern Avenue. All buildings, cafes, restaurants, shops are crowded with people, life is in full swing here all the time, at any time of the day. Walking we will get straight to the building Opera and Ballet and then to the Cascade, from the height of which a magnificent view of the whole city opens. The current identity of the Armenians was largely formed as a result of the Genocide in 1915. In May 2014 , Forbes magazine included The Armenian Genocide Museum is included in the list of 9 memorial museums that everyone should visit. In the Museum you can learn everything about the events that led to the Genocide, about the Genocide itself and the reaction of the world, including the famous words of Hitler “Who remembers the Armenians now”.

The Lori region is rich in history and heritage, and many attractions are located in the most obscure and mind-blowing places. Odzun is the largest village in Lori, located almost on the edge of the Debed Gorge. The pearl of the village is the Odzun Church, one of the earliest Christian churches in Armenia after the Echmiadzin Cathedral. The Sanahin Monastery and the Haghpat Monastery are attractions not only in the Lori region, but also throughout Armenia due to their architectural and spiritual values and heritage. Both sites are located on a plateau and are about 15 km from each other. The monasteries are a mixture of Byzantine church architecture and Caucasian traditional architecture of about 10-13 centuries. Both monasteries are charming places that are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. After that, we head in the direction of the Cave “Mendz Er", which was probably the habitat of prehistoric man, later turned into a shelter, and not so long ago turned into a goat barn. After that we will go to Tbilisi for overnight.

This rocky road still retains clear traces of wheeled vehicles that have been moving here for centuries. The city of Mtskheta is located on the banks of the Aragvi and Kura rivers, the confluence of which is clearly visible due to the difference in the color of the water. Jvari Monastery. it stands on the top of a rocky mountain at the confluence of these rivers.
