Begin your day with a trip to Tsaghkadzor, the "Valley of Flowers," nestled in the mountains. Visit the Kecharis Monastery, a medieval complex surrounded by nature. Then, take a ride on the ropeway to enjoy panoramic views of the area’s serene beauty.
Continue to Lake Sevan, the "jewel" of Armenia and one of the largest high-altitude freshwater lakes in the world. Stop at Sevanavank Monastery, perched on a peninsula, offering breathtaking views over the lake.
Conclude your day with a delicious treat — freshly grilled Sevan trout barbecue, a local delicacy you won't want to miss.

Day 3
Khor Virap Monastery, Birds-Cave (Areni-1), Hin Areni Wine Factory, Noravank Monastery

Explore some of the most iconic and historic sites in Armenia. Start with Khor Virap Monastery, renowned for its panoramic views of biblical Mount Ararat.
Then head to Noravank, a stunning red-rock monastery complex where the Church of the Holy Mother of God stands uniquely as a two-story church nestled in a canyon.
Visit the Hin Areni Wine Factory for a guided tour and wine tasting in one of Armenia’s oldest winemaking regions. Finally, explore the Birds-Cave (Areni-1), a prehistoric archaeological site where the world’s oldest known shoe and winery were discovered.

Gyumri (Urban Life Museum, Black Fortress, Old Town Walk), Harichavank Monastery

Stop at the historic Black Fortress, built in 1834, and listed among the city’s significant cultural landmarks. Stroll through the charming old streets filled with 19th-century architecture that reflects the city's rich past.
End your day at the Harichavank Monastery, beautifully situated on the western slope of Mount Aragats, offering scenic views and a peaceful atmosphere.

Echmiadzin (Mother Cathedral, Hripsime, Gayane), Zvartnots

Visit Armenia’s spiritual heart — Echmiadzin, home to the world's first Christian cathedral. Begin with the churches of St. Hripsime and St. Gayane, both dedicated to early Christian martyrs.
Next, see the Echmiadzin Mother Cathedral, the central cathedral of the Armenian Apostolic Church and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Conclude with a visit to Zvartnots Cathedral, a majestic 7th-century architectural marvel that once stood among the tallest buildings of its time.

Hin Areni Wine Factory, Shaki Waterfall, Tatev Monastery (Return by Ropeway)

Start with a wine tasting tour at the Hin Areni Wine Factory, known for its rich winemaking heritage.
Next, visit the beautiful Shaki Waterfall, located in one of Syunik province’s most picturesque corners.
End your day at the magnificent Tatev Monastery, a former spiritual, political, and scientific center of medieval Armenia. Enjoy a scenic ride back on the “Wings of Tatev”, the world’s longest reversible ropeway, soaring over deep gorges and lush landscapes.
