Day 2
Garni Temple, Symphony of Stones, Geghard Monastery, Lavash Baking Master Class
Start time: 10:00
Join a half-day group tour to discover some of Armenia’s most remarkable landmarks! Begin with the ancient Garni Temple, the only surviving pagan temple in Armenia, standing proudly on a cliff overlooking the Azat River Gorge.
Next, descend into the Garni Canyon to witness the natural wonder known as the “Symphony of Stones” — a stunning formation of hexagonal basalt columns resembling a giant organ.
Continue to Geghard Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site partially carved into the surrounding rock, offering a serene and spiritual experience.
End the tour with a traditional lavash (Armenian flatbread) baking master class, a delightful immersion into one of Armenia’s most cherished culinary traditions.
Duration: 5–6 hours
Day 3
Lake Sevan, Sevanavank Monastery, Dilijan (Short Stop), Goshavank, Haghartsin Monastery
Start time: 10:00
Begin your journey with a visit to Lake Sevan — the "jewel of Armenia" and one of the world’s largest high-altitude freshwater lakes. Admire the stunning views from Sevanavank Monastery, located on the Sevan Peninsula. Although currently used as a religious seminary, its grounds offer exceptional panoramic scenery.
Next, enjoy a short stop in Dilijan, often called the “Armenian Switzerland,” thanks to its lush forests and alpine charm. Located within the Dilijan National Park, this town is a nature lover’s paradise.
Continue to Goshavank Monastery, set amidst rolling green hills, and conclude the tour at Haghartsin Monastery — a 10th-century spiritual complex recently restored with the support of Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, who was deeply moved by its beauty.
Duration: 9–10 hours
Day 4
Echmiadzin (Mother Cathedral, St. Hripsime, St. Gayane), Zvartnots Temple
Start time: 10:00
Embark on a journey to Armenia’s spiritual heart, visiting churches that are part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list. Begin with the churches of St. Hripsime and St. Gayane, both dedicated to early Christian women-martyrs who fled Rome.
Next, explore the Echmiadzin Mother Cathedral — the spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church and recognized as the world’s first Christian cathedral.
End the tour at the ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral, a 7th-century architectural marvel once considered one of the tallest buildings of its time.
