On this tour you will visit Gyumri, the second largest city in Armenia, one of the main cultural centers of the republic. The only Catholic church in Armenia has recently been built in Gyumri. Visiting the Urban Life museum you will discover everyday life, culture and history of Gyumri. There will be a stop at Black Fortress, which is one of the famous monuments of Gyumri. Built in 1834, it is included in the list of intangible monuments of history and culture of the city. Walking through the streets of the town you will see lots of old buildings and feel the spirit of 19th century architecture. The monastery complex of Harichavank, the last stop, is situated on the western slope of Mount Aragats, on a rocky cape.

Khor Virap Monastery, Birds-Cave, Hin Areni Wine factory, Noravank Monastery

The most fascinating attractions of Armenia are here to amaze you! Visit Khor Virap monastery, a great place for embracing picturesque views of the Holy Mount Ararat. Next, see the monastery complex Noravank, that is unique in its construction as the church of Holy Mother of God is 2-storied monastery. After that have wine tasting in "Hin Areni" wine factory, which is one of the oldest settlements in Armenia, famous for its wines. Finally, visit an ancient cave called "Birds-Cave" or Areni-1.

Lake Sevan, Sevanavank Monastery, Dilijan (short stop), Goshavank Monastery, Haghartsin Monastery

On this tour visit Lake Sevan, pearl of this mountainous country and one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in Eurasia. See Sevanavank, a monastery complex on Sevan peninsula, from where the whole beauty of Lake Sevan can be observed. Currently a religious seminary functions here, which is not readily open to the public. You will then go to Dilijan, otherwise referred to as "Armenian Switzerland" for its fantastic natural forests. The town is a part of Dilijan National Park. The next stop is Goshavank monastery, surrounded by green territories. Finally, visit Haghartsin, a 10th century monastery which has been recently renovated by donation of Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, who was impressed by the monastery when visiting it.

Echmiadzin (Mother Cathedral, Hripsime, Gayane), Zvartnots

This trip takes you to churches, that are listed among the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites. The first stops are the churches of St. Hripsime and St. Gayane, that are two of three churches in Echmiadzin, dedicated to the Christian women-martyrs who escaped from Rome with their abbess Gayane. Next up is Echmiadzin Mother Cathedral, the main cathedral of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the very first Christian cathedral in the World. The final stop is near Zvartnots, the medieval temple of St. Gregory, built in the 7th century. It was one of the tallest buildings of the time.

Garni Temple, Symphony of stones, Geghard Monastery, Lavash baking master class
