Gyumri tour, Black Fortress, Museum of Urban Life, Marmashen, Harichavank

Program 

We begin our tour with a visit to the Harichavank Monastery, which dates back to the 7th century. Then we are on our way to the cultural capital of Armenia, which is the second largest city after Yerevan. During the tour we will visit the museum of urban life, where we will get acquainted with the history and culture of the city, and with the customs of local residents. Then we will walk through the streets of the colorful capital, visit the Church of Seven Wounds, the church of St. Nshan and St. The Savior. During the city tour, we will visit the famous Black Fortress, which is part of the military-architectural complex of the Alexandropol Fortress. The famous buildings of historical and cultural significance of Gyumri, which are considered the hallmark of the city, will make our route even more impressive and eventful. The last stop will be in the village of Vagramashen, where we will get acquainted with the history of the Marmashen Monastery, the pearl of Shirak.
