Day 1

Arrival – Transfer from the Airport
Welcome to Armenia! Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore at your leisure.


Day 2

Gyumri: Urban Life Museum, Black Fortress, Walking Tour, Harichavank Monastery
Explore Gyumri, Armenia’s second-largest city and a major cultural hub. Visit the Urban Life Museum to discover the city’s rich history, culture, and daily life. Stop at the Black Fortress, built in 1834 and recognized as an intangible cultural monument. Wander through the old streets, admiring 19th-century architecture and the city’s historic atmosphere. End the day at Harichavank Monastery, perched on the western slope of Mount Aragats, offering stunning views and a serene setting.

Day 3

Echmiadzin (Mother Cathedral, St. Hripsime, St. Gayane), Zvartnots Cathedral
Visit churches listed as UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites. Begin with the churches of St. Hripsime and St. Gayane, dedicated to Christian women-martyrs who fled Rome. Proceed to the Echmiadzin Mother Cathedral, the main cathedral of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the world’s first Christian cathedral. Conclude with the ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral, a majestic 7th-century temple once among the tallest buildings of its era.

Day 4

Tsaghkadzor (Kecharis Monastery, Ropeway), Lake Sevan (Sevanavank Monastery), Sevan Trout Barbecue
Discover Tsaghkadzor, known as the “Valley of Flowers.” Visit the Kecharis Monastery complex, then take a scenic ropeway ride to admire the area’s natural beauty. Continue to Lake Sevan, the “Jewel of Armenia” and one of the largest high-altitude freshwater lakes in Eurasia. Visit Sevanavank Monastery on the peninsula, offering spectacular views of the lake. Enjoy a delicious Sevan trout barbecue to complete your day.

Day 5

Khor Virap Monastery, Azat Reservoir Viewpoint, Garni Temple, Lavash Baking Master Class, Geghard Monastery
Start with the iconic Khor Virap Monastery, offering breathtaking views of Mount Ararat and Armenia’s Christian origins. Stop at the Azat Reservoir for photo opportunities amid pristine nature. Explore the only pagan temple in Armenia, the Garni Temple. Experience a traditional lavash bread baking master class, a beloved Armenian custom. End with a visit to the Geghard Monastery, a spectacular 13th-century site partly carved into rock and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 6

Garni Temple, Symphony of Stones, Geghard Monastery, Lavash Baking Master Class
Take a focused group tour visiting Garni Temple, Armenia’s only surviving pagan temple. Walk through the Garni Canyon, known as the “Basaltic Organ” for its unique rock formations. Continue to the Geghard Monastery, partially carved into the cliffs. End your day witnessing the artistry of lavash baking, an integral part of Armenian culture.

Day 7

Transfer to the Airport
