Day 1

Arrival – Transfer from the Airport

Welcome to Armenia! Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for rest or independent exploration.

Day 2

Echmiadzin (Mother Cathedral, St. Hripsime, St. Gayane), Zvartnots Cathedral
Start time: 10:00

Discover some of Armenia’s most sacred religious landmarks, all listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Begin with the churches of St. Hripsime and St. Gayane, dedicated to early Christian martyrs who fled Roman persecution. Continue to the Mother Cathedral of Echmiadzin, the spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the first Christian cathedral in the world. End your tour at the impressive ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral, a 7th-century masterpiece that once stood as one of the tallest buildings of its time.

Day 3

Hin Areni Wine Factory, Shaki Waterfall, Tatev Monastery (Return via Ropeway)
Start time: 08:30

Begin your full-day excursion with a visit to the Hin Areni Wine Factory in the village of Areni, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour and wine tasting. Then continue to the beautiful Shaki Waterfall, one of the hidden gems of Syunik Province. The final stop is the majestic Tatev Monastery, a medieval spiritual and academic center nestled in dramatic natural surroundings. Return via the Wings of Tatev, the world’s longest reversible aerial tramway, offering breathtaking views over the Vorotan Gorge.
