Echmiadzin (Mother Cathedral, Hripsime, Gayane), Zvartnots

This tour will take you to some of Armenia’s most sacred and historic sites, all listed as UNESCO World Cultural Heritage monuments. Begin with the churches of St. Hripsime and St. Gayane, both dedicated to early Christian martyrs who fled Rome with their abbess Gayane.
Next, visit the Echmiadzin Mother Cathedral, the spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the first Christian cathedral in the world.
The final stop is the ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral, an architectural masterpiece of the 7th century, once one of the tallest buildings of its time.

Day 3
Garni Temple, Symphony of Stones, Geghard Monastery, Lavash Baking Master Class
Start time: 10:00
Explore some of Armenia’s most iconic landmarks. Start with the Garni Temple, the country’s only remaining pagan structure. Then descend into Garni Gorge, where you'll witness the awe-inspiring Symphony of Stones, a natural wonder of basalt columns.
Continue to Geghard Monastery, a partially rock-carved complex known for its mystical atmosphere and spiritual significance.
End the tour with a traditional lavash baking master class, a hands-on experience of one of Armenia’s most cherished culinary traditions.

Day 4
Gyumri (Urban Life Museum, Black Fortress, Old Town Walk), Harichavank Monastery
Start time: 09:00
Head to Gyumri, Armenia’s second-largest city and a cultural gem. Visit the Urban Life Museum, which captures the traditions, lifestyle, and history of local residents.
Next, stop at the Black Fortress, a 19th-century military structure that stands as a symbol of the city’s resilience and heritage.
Take a walk through Gyumri’s charming old streets, where the spirit of 19th-century architecture lives on. End your journey with a visit to Harichavank Monastery, beautifully located on the slopes of Mount Aragats and offering stunning panoramic views.
