Yerevan - Dilijan - Lake Parz - Dear Park -  Makaravank - Yerevan

Breakfast at the hotel. During this trip we will discover Dilijan, which is otherwise called "Armenian Switzerland" because of its fantastic natural forests. Here we will visit Lake Parz, which translates to "clean". It is located in Dilijan National Park, at an altitude of 1400 meters above sea level. It is about 7 kilometers from the city of Dilijan. In addition to its beauty, the lake park can offer tourists boats, fishing, camping, etc. Our next stop is the Makaravank Monastery, surrounded by amazing forests and hills. The monastery stands in the middle of a rich forest, and only one road leads to the village. The solitude of this beauty makes the atmosphere in and around the monastery extremely inspiring.

City tour in Yerevan - Erebuni Fortress

Start the city tour with a visit to the 572-step Cascade Monument, which serves as the main symbol of the city’s 2780th anniversary. The mega scale staircase is 500 meters high and 50 meters wide. A panoramic view from the monument opens up breathtaking city view with Opera House and Mount Ararat. Walking along the old streets of Yerevan, we get to the Northern Avenue. All buildings, cafes, restaurants, shops are crowded with people, life is in full swing here all the time. Our next stop is Republic Square, where it becomes clear why Yerevan is considered to be a pink city. The most important government buildings are gathered here.  The cherry on the cake is the singing fountains, which betray the unique atmosphere of the city and color Yerevan evenings. Walking we will get straight to the Opera and Ballet building which is one of the most important buildings I Yerevan. Erebuni is an ancient Urartian fortress palace built by King Argishti I in 782 BC; it was located on the Arin Berd hill, near modern Yerevan in Armenia. The proof that Yerevan is more than 2,800 years old can be found here.

Yerevan - Khor Virap Monastery - Azat Reservoir view point - Charents Arch - Gegard Monastery - Garni temple - Lavash baking master-class - Yerevan

The first stop is the majestic Khor Virap, where the seeds of the beginning of Christianity in Armenia are stored. The first Catholicos of Armenia was imprisoned there for 13 years in prison. Afterwords a real miracle of nature is waiting for us. View point at Azat Reservoir is the best place for merging with nature and making amazing pics. Continuing our way, we get to the Geghard Monastery standing proudly over the abyss. Geghard is the spear that Longinus plunged into the hypochondrium of Jesus Christ, crucified on the Cross. The monastery, built in the IV century, is carved into the rock and is included in UNESCO. Then we are waiting for Garni. The pagan temple in the Greek style, the stones of which are about two meters long, fastened with staples and pins, is one of a kind. After a rich history of the day, we are waiting for the most fascinating and delicious journey for fragrant Armenian bread. We will take part in the baking and tasting of lavash, which will definitely not leave you indifferent.
